At the council store in Doylestown (adjacent to the Bucks County Library), you'll need to purchase a tan shirt (short sleeve is recommended and available with male/female styling), green pants (switchbacks, which also can be shorts, are the most cost effective), BSA socks , a Washington Crossing Patch and World Organization of Scouting insignia (purple flour de lis). If your child is crossing over from Webelos and wore the tan shirt and green pants, you are likely ready to go! We also have a Troop uniform swap available where scouts can trade in their current uniform shirt or pants for the next size up.
***Troop 172 will provide you with the Troop Numbers, Patrol Emblem, Troop Neckerchief, and Shoulder Loops***
Remember, size up as the kids grow FAST, and our adult leaders can help witht he sewign if needed (patches are NOT iron on).
