OUR PROGRAM
We strive to be true Scout-run troop. Scout leaders plan and execute their own program, with adult leaders providing participation and support.
Our Patrol Method is supported by the Patrol Leaders' Council which consists of the members of the Leadership Patrol (SPL, ASPL, Troop Instructor, and JASM) and the Patrol Leaders of each patrol. This group meets monthly with the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters to plan Troop meetings and outings.
Our Male (172B) and Female (172G) Troops are linked, and meet at the same time in different areas of St. Paul's. Our Troops often often camp together at adjacent sites but plan and run their activities independently.

We've sent our Scouts to both Florida SeaBase, and Philmont Scout Ranch for weeks-long high adventure camps as well as frequent local camping, backpacking and whitewater weekends.
Recent EAGLE SCOUT SERVICE PROJECTS:
Josh chose to create a prayer garden at St Joseph/St Robert School in Warrington. Josh designed the garden and led a group of scouts and adult volunteers in the installation of the wooden border, soil, mulch, stepping stones, statue, and other elements. Josh and his volunteers made the stepping stones and the design is based off his grandmom's Rosary. Great job Josh!
Katy expanded the playground area at Churchville Nature Center to include a children's balance beam and a sensory wall. Work day one involved building the wall and the balance beam and staining/sealing both. Work day two included the installation of the pieces at the Nature Center!
Jack chose to repalce the weathered cross at St Paul's UMC, Our charter Organization. the Old Cross had been taken down in a windstorm and the repalceent was clearly needed. Jack designed the cross as well as the supporting base and lead the install along with new lansdscaping timbers and cleaning up the area.
In Progress EAGLE SCOUT SERVICE PROJECTS:
For his project, Daniel has chosen to erect a monomuent sign at Mechanicsville Cemetery allowing for a physical memorial for loved ones whose ashes have been spread on the grounds. Daniel is plannign to complete his project this fall.
For his project, Milan has chosen to build and install a flaoting wetland at a local pond in Warrington township. The inclusion of the floating wetland will be beneficial both the water quality in the pond but also the wildlife. An informational sign will also be installed. Milan is planning to complete his project this fall.
For his project, Nishi has chosen to build a Chimney Swift Tower at the Churville Nature Center and install an infomrational sign. Nishi is planning to complete his project this fall.
For his project, Aarya has chosen to build Little Libraries in two of Warrignton's parks to enoucrage reading. Aarya is planning to complete his project this fall.
